Hasegawa 21101 1/24 Toyota 2000GT

The 12th Tokyo Motor Show in 1965. The venue was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. At the center of it all, a car appeared before the crowd at the same time its name was announced.

This was the debut of the Toyota 2000GT, a car that is well known as one of the highlights in the history of Japanese automobiles . With its elegant body, Toyota’s first DOHC engine for a passenger car, rosewood-covered meter panel, and mahogany wood steering wheel, the car was finished with craftsmanship in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., the company’s development partner.
